Personally i was pleased with the story as a whole, pretty impressive how such a young (in relation to most writers) mind could come up with such a complex story-line and narration. is there anything you would change? if so, what would it be?? i personally would have ended it with an ending similar to that of The Pit and the Pendulum. where perhaps Victor wakes up and it all be a dream and have Elizabeth beside him and leave the reader wondering whether it WAS actually real or not... tell me what you think!
If you were Victor, would you have Made the Monster? why, or why not?
Why do you think Shelly chose to write such a dark and somber book? Is life really that bad there?
Do you think the story would have been better with a darker mood in the play or did the light mood offer a refreshing change from the book?
The main theme was how Victor seemed to have everything and still want more. not possessions but knowledge. Do you think this hurt or helped him in the end?
From the beginning of the novel it is obvious that the book will not end well, however, could anyone have expected such an ending? Almost anti-climatic the way he endured so much to just die like that.

Today we saw the full play. And one of the reoccurring themes was the imperfection of the creation. Do you think there are religious connotations to when man creates life how disastrous it turns out? Maybe the writer was trying to say that only God can be suited for creating life.
